Lorimar Project COD!

Lorimar 205kW Array Installation

EG Solar Power has completed its 205 kWp Lorimar Project! The project’s COD date was November 2012 and it is now fully operational producing carbon free power for Ontario. It will average a production of 230400 kWh/yr of clean energy. To put things in perspective this project has the equivalent carbon offset of 169 metric tons of CO2. This equates to the annual emissions from 34 passenger vehicles per year or the equivalent of planting 4,168 seedlings per year and having them grow over a 10 year period.

Gordon Baker Project COD!

Gordon Baker 299kWp Array

EG Solar Power has completed the Gordon Baker Project! Refer to our Portfolio in the menu above to see more details about the project and pictures. This project is 299 kWp with over 1150 Solar PV panels installed to produce on average 354 MWh/yr. Its COD was completed in November of 2012 and it is now operational. It will offset approximately 250 metric tons of CO2 per year. This is the equivalent of taking 52 passenger cars off the road or planting 6,411 seedling trees per year and having them sequester carbon for ten years!
